Terms and Conditions
Our standard deliveries, both in the UK and abroad, are sent by Royal Mail. They continue to advise that there may be local delays to deliveries in the UK due to the impact of coronavirus.
Due to the coronavirus situation we are currently dispatching orders on Monday and Thursday morning only, but If you need a delivery urgently, or have any special requirements, please get in touch via our contact page, or add a message in the Special Instructions box at checkout and we'll do our best to help!
DISPATCH AND DELIVERY
We normally aim to dispatch items as quickly as possible, usually at the latest on the morning of the next working day following the placing of your order; but due to the continuing coronavirus situation we are currently dispatching
orders twice a week only, on Monday and Thursday mornings. Please get in touch (via our Contact page, or by adding a message in the Special Instructions box at checkout) if your order is needed more urgently.
Most UK orders under 2kg will be sent by Royal Mail Signed For First Class, costing £4.80, and should be with you within 1 working day (including Saturday) of dispatch. We can provide you with a tracking number on request (include a message in the Special Instructions box at checkout, or get in touch via our Contact page). If you need something urgently we can send it by Royal Mail Special Delivery, with various guaranteed delivery times (at varying prices), and will endeavour to get your order to the local Post Office as quickly as we can - please contact us first.
UK orders for high value items, or items of 2kg or over, will be sent by courier, and the cost should show in your shopping basket.
Wholesale orders are sent by courier (or for some smaller orders by Royal Mail) - please contact us via our wholesale enquiries page for details.
PLEASE NOTE that our shopping cart cannot automatically calculate shipping prices for some larger international orders accurately, and will show these with £0.00 shipping costs. If you order from abroad and see zero shipping costs please contact us first, or leave us a message via the Special Instructions box during the order process, and we'll try to find the best price available for delivery to you.
International/Overseas orders are usually sent by Royal Mail, International Tracked or Signed, and should reach destinations within Europe within 3-5 working days of dispatch, and the rest of the world within 5-7 working days. Delivery prices will vary, depending on your exact location, and on total parcel weight. PLEASE NOTE THAT INTERNATIONAL ORDERS MAY BE SUBJECT TO VAT AND/OR IMPORT DUTIES, AS WELL AS HANDLING CHARGES, WHEN THEY ARRIVE IN YOUR DESTINATION COUNTRY. THESE CHARGES ARE OUTSIDE OUR CONTROL, AND BY PLACING AN ORDER WE ASK YOU TO ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU ARE WILLING TO ACCEPT ANY CHARGES LEVIED AT IMPORT. WE SUGGEST YOU CHECK YOUR OWN COUNTRY'S INFORMATION ON IMPORTING GOODS FROM THE UK BEFORE ORDERING.
If you are ordering from abroad and would like us to send your item by courier (which should ensure faster delivery) rather than by Royal Mail please get in touch via our contact page, or add a message in the Special Instructions box at checkout - we will get back to you as soon as possible with pricing and information on projected delivery times.
RETURNS, EXCHANGES AND REFUNDS
We hope you will be delighted with your purchase, but if, for any reason, within the first 14 days after receipt of goods, you wish to return your item, you may do so, at your own cost, for a refund of the purchase and delivery price, provided it is undamaged and in saleable condition.
If your purchase is damaged on receipt, lost on its way to you, or in any way defective we will of course do all we can to put this right promptly; and will exchange or refund any defective items returned to us, at our cost.
Many of our items are individually hand made by us, of natural materials - such as leather or wooden boards and hardwood playing pieces - so each game board and playing piece will be very slightly different. We hope you will feel these variations add to the charm and individuality of your game or gaming accessory. Most importantly, we hope you'll enjoy playing the games, and would be pleased to receive any feedback on them. If you lose any game pieces, or the rules to your game, please get in touch - we can usually provide spares.
