CORONAVIRUS UPDATE

Latest UK government advice allows online businesses to remain open, and, as a microbusiness which doesn't involve personnel from outside the household, we will continue to take orders and dispatch them via our local Post Office, for the time being. To minimise travel outside the home/workshop we will post orders out on only one day (Tuesday, c. 10am) per week. Wholesale orders will continue to be taken and dispatched by courier as normal.

OUR ONLINE SHOP IS OPEN AS NORMAL

Most of our parcels are delivered by Royal Mail, who are following Public Health England advice that coronavirus is very unlikely to survive on parcels, and that people receiving items by post are not at risk of contracting the disease. Royal Mail have also introduced special measures to ensure safe delivery of parcels which won't fit through letterboxes, or to households which are self-isolating. This includes placing the parcel at your door and waiting until you have collected it. If you need to sign for your parcel, the postperson will log your name, rather than handing over a device for you to sign.

Royal Mail are currently hoping to continue to deliver as normal, with the only exception currently being the withdrawal of the Special Delivery by 1pm service. If you do need a delivery urgently, or have any special requirements, please get in touch via our contact page, or add a message in the Special Instructions box at checkout.

DISPATCH AND DELIVERY

We aim to dispatch items as quickly as possible, usually at the latest by the next working day following the placing of your order.

UK orders under 2kg will be sent by Royal Mail Signed For, with a choice of 1st or 2nd Class (choose your option via the Shopping Basket, before proceeding to Checkout), and, in the case of the latter, should be with you within 1 working day (including Saturday) of dispatch. We can provide you with a tracking number on request (include a message in the Special Instructions box at checkout, or get in touch via our contact page). If you need your items urgently we can send them by Royal Mail Special Delivery, with various guaranteed delivery times (at varying prices), and will endeavour to get your item to the local Post Office as quickly as we can - please contact us first.

UK delivery costs start at £3.50, based on the weight of the package; with free delivery for UK orders of £50 and over.

Wholesale orders are sent by courier (or for some smaller orders by Royal Mail) - please contact us via our wholesale enquiries page for details.

INTERNATIONAL/OVERSEAS ORDERS
International/Overseas orders are usually sent by Royal Mail, International Tracked or Signed, and should reach destinations within Europe within 3-5 working days of dispatch, and the rest of the world within 5-7 working days. Delivery prices will vary, depending on your exact location, and on total parcel weight. PLEASE NOTE that our shopping cart cannot automatically calculate shipping prices for some larger orders accurately, and will show these with £0.00 shipping costs. If you order from abroad and see zero shipping costs please contact us first, or leave us a message via the Special Instructions box during the order process, and we'll try to find the best price available for delivery to you.

RETURNS, EXCHANGES AND REFUNDS
We hope you will be delighted with your purchase, but if, for any reason, within the first 14 days after receipt of goods, you wish to return your item, you may do so, at your own cost, for a refund of the purchase and delivery price, provided it is undamaged and in saleable condition.

If your purchase is damaged on receipt, lost on its way to you, or in any way defective we will of course do all we can to put this right promptly; and will exchange or refund any defective items returned to us, at our cost.

CUSTOMER SERVICE
Many of our items are individually hand made by us, of natural materials - such as leather boards and hardwood counters - so each game board and playing piece will be very slightly different. We hope you will feel these variations add to the charm and individuality of your game or gaming accessory. Most importantly, we hope you'll enjoy playing the games, and would be pleased to receive any feedback on them. If you lose any game pieces, or the rules to your game, please get in touch - we can usually provide spares.
