Vikings vs Saxons

This original strategy game plays out a skirmish between the Saxon settlers of dark age Britain and incoming Vikings, some time in the 8th century. They meet at a bridge and fight to the death.

• Saxon and Viking warriors assemble on either side of a narrow bridge, and battle to the death
• Both forces are made up of two elite and agile swordsmen, three powerful axemen, and five spearcarriers
• Each group must try to advance across the narrow bridge, eliminating the opposition, while simultaneously defending territory from enemy encroachment
• Beware the lowly spearcarriers whose ability to kill at a distance makes them more powerful than their name suggests!
• Victory goes to the player who destroys the enemy and can seize the bridge
