Most historic board games are for two players, but in late Tudor times two board games which are suitable for many players became popular. Both involve dice, and play is therefore more dependent on luck than many of our rather more strategic historic board games, so they're great for playing in groups. They are "The Newe and Most Pleasant Game of the Goose" and House of Fortune. We've put these together with a deck of reproduction Tudor playing cards with the rules to Tudor card games, and an additional set of four solid pip bone dice, with rules for dice games known from Tudor and Elizabethan times.

Linen game boards, with wooden counters, bone dice and rules for each; a deck of reproduction Tudor playing cards with the rules to eight card games; and four bone dice in a cotton pouch plus the rules for twelve dice games. You'll need to provide your own tokens for playing House of Fortune - pennies work well!

Most games are suitable for anyone from 7 years and up.
