The smaller version of our leather chess board, hand-painted; also suitable for draughts/checkers or whatever you fancy!
This is a standard draughts/chess board of 8 x 8 squares; the board is 10 inches (c. 25.5cm) square; individual squares or cells 1 1/8" (c. 30mm). Our 1" diameter playing pieces are the ideal size for this board; requires 24 (12 + 12) pieces for draughts.
The board is made from flexible leather, which can roll and unroll without creasing. Ideal for historical re-enactment, or to display or play with reproduction historic gaming pieces or your own favourite chess set or draughts pieces.
